Chapter 13

  • 24 Aug, 2025

“Aksh Rana, we have a warrant for your arrest. Charges: assault and abetment of suicide attempt. You’ll come with us quietly.” Aksh tilted his head slightly, his eyes narrowing, the faintest curl of a smirk tugging at his lips. “Are you sure?” The way he asked, quiet, steady, almost amused, sent an involuntary shiver down the inspector’s spine.

For a moment, the man faltered, his authority wobbling under the weight of that gaze. Virat, sensing the crack, lunged at it like a predator. “You see, Inspector? That arrogance. That’s the very reason Malvika nearly died tonight. He provoked her. He’s dangerous. Don’t let him manipulate you too.” His voice was smooth, persuasive, dripping venom while pretending to be righteous.

Because art survives on love—and the occasional coffee. ☕✨
